Eloy’s classes are a mix between jazz elements and hip-hop elements to create modern choreography.
It is an intermediate level class, perfect for people with previous dance experience and beginners looking for a challenging class to improve their skills.
Classes are 90 minutes long for intensive training securing further improvement in each class.

Contemporary Dance Classes

This is a class combining Contemporary and Modern dance with elements of Pilates. It’s a great class for overall fitness, building up strength and stamina. Beginning with a gentle warm-up, followed by stand up and floor exercises the class is finished with an easy dance routine which is designed to develop flexibility and body awareness. Fencing

Dun in Mara

Try your hand at the art of medieval and Renaissance sword fighting with regular weekly training in our studios.

Historical Fencing is a form of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), where we recreate the Medieval and Renaissance art of fighting with swords, working from the actual fighting manuals of the period. It is the forerunner of the modern sport of fencing.

Taekwon-do with John Moffitt

IFSC Taekwon-do Club

Taekwon-do is a Korean self defence system of unarmed combat, famous for its spectacular high kicks and its code of ethics. By practicing Taekwon-do you will not only improve your health, strength, fitness and flexibility, make new friends, get more confident and enjoy yourself, but you will also arm yourself with the means needed to defend yourself, if necessary. 3rd Degree Black Belt John has been practicing taekwon-do for over 20 years. During his long sport career he competed all over the world and achieved many successes, including national titles and European individual heavyweight sparring silver medal. Since the beginning of the spring season 2016, Irish National Youth Ballet (INYB) has been sponsoring a programme designed to encourage and develop the confidence and abilities of young men with an interest in dance.
€15 per class paid via the INYB website, term runs January to May.
Opportunities to progress to the main company of Irish National Youth Ballet by audition.
Class is taught by Stephen Brennan of Ballet Ireland.
